Our Mission
The Columbia County Sheriff's Mutual Aid Foundation fosters a strong partnership between the private sector, the Sheriff's Office and the community it services to promote public safety, education, scholarships and community engagement. The Foundation provides disaster relief through financial assistance and supportive services to families facing major damage to or loss of their home, a tragic injury or illness, or a line-of-duty or off-duty death under tragic circumstances. In addition, the Foundation helps to prepare the next generation of law enforcement officers by providing educational scholarships to new students, non-traditional students and veterans. The Foundation also recognizes and honors current officers for their service through awards and formal recognition.
It is our desire to translate our mission into action by improved service capacities and increased opportunities for constructive engagement throughout Columbia County all which contribute to a safer environment for the individuals, families and communities it serves.
